Major ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for assisting Management with associate health, wellness and safety concern on the shop floor. * Will work a flex schedule covering all shifts as required * Perform other duties as required. * Work closely with associates, team leaders, supervisors and managers to identify and resolve health, wellness and safety concerns, * Administer first aid as needed. * Facilitate and assist with training for CPR, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens. * Assist with OSHA record keeping as needed; OSHA 300 Log. * Assist with Workers Compensation record keeping and case management, as needed * Assist and correlate Annual Audiometic testing. * Conduct pre-employment drug testing, pre-employment physicals and hearing test as required * Provide leadership in the Health & Safety meetings. * Facilitate and assist with scheduling wellness programs, such as Health Fairs. * Willing to work a flex schedule to cover all shifts. * Other responsibilities as deemed necessary. * Member of Drive Health & Safety Committee. * Perform other duties as required.Knowledge and EducationEducation and/or Experience * Nursing Degree, RN. * Previous experience in Occupational Nursing a plusSkills and CompetenciesCore Competencies Personnel shall be competent to perform their job function based on appropriate education, training, skills, and experience. Detailed training and competency requirements are defined in the specific Training & Competency Matrix for each functional area. Competency evaluation is through various sources including, but not limited to, process performance, performance appraisal, and competency testing, as appropriate. Communication Skills * Good written, and oral communication skills. * Able to communicate at all levels. * Previous training experience a plus. Mathematical Skills * Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. * Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and in interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability * Ability to apply common sense, understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. * Ability to deal with problems, involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Work EnvironmentPhysical Demands / Work Environment * 50% walking/standing on shop floor * 50% sitting working in office * Manufacturing shop floor and office
