Position Overview An eRAD PACS Engineer is a professional responsible for the advanced design, implementation, support and maintenance of customer solutions and/or eRAD business infrastructure and applications. This individual works with customers and other potential teammates and multiple other teams including our Sales, Implementation and Support Teams to successfully design, implement, and support our PACS solutions. Skills Required Strong Operating Systems (Unix/Linux) knowledge required and experience working with complex applications and networking solutions. Some experience in programming/scripting or requirements gathering for other software developers, dependent on project scope. MySQL Database Management Familiarity with healthcare interface standards (HL7, DICOM, etc.) Strong Troubleshooting and Problem Solving skills Good communication skills Ability to work in fast paced environment Job Responsibilities Works with various team members to design, implement, and support custom solutions for customers; generally involving RIS/PACS/RADAR or supporting infrastructure/applications. Provide Customer Support via internal team escalations and also direct communication with the Customer Works assigned projects as directed and provides constant input into project scope, requirements, resources, and timelines for delivery. Knowledge transfer from Development teams on technical solutions to all teams as needed. Some travel is necessary to complete these objectives.
