Job Summary 13;
Generally, and as approved by the Vice President, reports to a Manager without system:wide responsibility in management salary grades 41 through 49. Provides basic clerical and administrative support to a department of less than 50 FTEs. Answers phones, greets customers/patients, prepares correspondence, schedules appointments, maintains calendars and files. Uses basic computer skills, including word processing, database management, presentation graphics, electronic mail and spreadsheet preparation. May require familiarity with medical terminology. May have time and attendance responsibilities and may handle confidential and/or sensitive information. Works under general supervision and follows procedures and guidelines to perform assigned tasks which are generally of a routine nature.
