General Responsibilities The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of various business unit financials. Assist the Director of Finance C&I in providing management updates and analysis, including validation of monthly actual, forecast and planning objectives. Representative Duties Monthly, Quarterly internal financial reporting in support of Group results and adhoc analysis Assist with monthly financial close of business units and Group Coordinate monthly forecasts/plan loads and resolve daily reporting issues Responsible for Hyperion (HFM) data, validation and communication with Business Unit controllers Assist Business units in problem solving of Hyperion system and data issues Assist in monthly forecasting review and validation of submitted business unit data Assist with annual business plan objectives, reporting and analysis Review the impact of foreign currency, free cash flow and trade working capital changes Prepare monthly operating reviews and other management presentations Communication with all levels of the organization required reporting objectives Review capital appropriation requests and financial analysis Develop mapping and integration of acquisitions Other duties as assigned by Director Educational Requirements Bachelor degree in accounting or finance Possess a broad knowledge of accounting, budgeting, cost/variance analysis, and interpretation of financial results in a manufacturing environment. Computer/System Skills Strong Proficiency in MS Excel pivot tables, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook Proficient in Hyperion HFM, Planning, Essbase and adhoc reporting Familiar with SAP or other integrated ERP systems including Business Warehouse Work Experience Minimum of three to five years in a multi company environment Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles Manufacturing experience preferred Additional Skills Sets Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Communication) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Functional Excellence) Highly organized with an ability to work well under tight time constraints (Results Driven) Travel Minimal travel required Hubbell Incorporated, its subsidiaries and affiliates, is an EO Employer AA: M/F/Veteran/Disability.
