Fast growing, fee:based financial advisory firm located in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Client Service Specialist (CSS) for their growing team.
Your job as a CSS is to enhance the client experience by serving clients and providing operational and administrative support to the entire team. Your knowledge of firm policy procedures and technology allows you to communicate with clients and prospective clients, anticipate their needs, resolve their problems, and follow through to provide extraordinary service. You perform administrative duties that support Financial Advisors in their daily business practices (client meetings, on:boarding new clients, marketing, etc.). You proactively support and drive firm initiatives and maintain risk awareness and regulatory knowledge.

* The primary focus for the CSS will be exceptional client satisfaction with specific attention in the areas of client communication, relationship management, and challenge resolution with the goal of knowing and exceeding the expectations of our clients.
* The CSS is a key team member servicing, educating, tracking and resolving day:to:day operational issues for our firm. The CSS will be highly engaged in all areas of support and management relative to the activities inherent to the client experience.
* Communicate with clients, verbally and in writing
* Assist financial planners with the client review process including presentation preparation, account maintenance and research, preparing financial statements and reports for client meetings
* Prepare client paperwork including agreements, custodian account and transfer forms
* Create client files and update as needed with current documentation such as tax returns, estate documents and meeting notes
* Deliver extraordinary client service:troubleshoot problems, schedule and organize meetings; serve as liaison between Advisor and client as needed
* Manage client information:prepare client reports, submit and follow up on necessary paperwork, regularly update Client Relationship Management Database (CRM)
* Prepare correspondence to and from clients, including the calculations necessary for making Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) from qualified plans and IRA accounts
* Focus as necessary, to help leverage our professional staffs time
* Lead the administrative staff demonstrating outstanding verbal communication skill with incoming and outgoing phone contact.
* Maintaining Client Contact Information with Custodian
* Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in financial services industry and/or an extensive administrative and customer service experience background (NOT in a call center).
* Familiarity with portfolio management programs, client reporting applications and an understanding of databases a plus.
* A Series 7 is a HUGE plus as is a Series 6 or 63. Additionally, if you have the LAH (Life, Accident and Health) license, you are a potentially great candidate.
* Goal and service oriented professional who is comfortable in a highly team:oriented environment.

* Client first attitude and professional demeanor and professional attire.
* Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment.
* Proficiency with MS Office
Salary and Benefits:
* Salary will be based on skills and experience, ranging 45,000:65,000+
* Benefits include paid vacation, paid sick time and employer can be flexible on hours of work. Health insurance can also be provided for employee only.
